Then we drive further direction Midelt the capital of apples; where we have a lunch break before continuing the journey to the Ziz valley; while enjoying the panoramic view of palm trees along the river.  Day 5 – Around Merzouga exploration trip and Rissani

After breakfast we will start our journey to explore around Merzouga; begin with a visit to Khamlia village, enjoy their spiritual Gnawa music and lifestyle. Just nearby here there is a seasonal lake which has migratory birds of flamingos. Then we drive to Rissani; also called Sijilmassa. It has a traditional weekly souk. Here we will walk through the souk shooping like locals, it packed with aromatic spices, colourful vegetables and clothes. After a tasty pizza or Madfouna is a local speciality for lunch.
